It's been another busy On the Fringe with a jam-packed August in the Déise. Waterford Walls makes its return from August 22nd with artists from all over the world descending here to paint the walls with stunning street art. You can find out more here.
Now in its fifth year, organiser Edel Tobin has been involved with Waterford Walls from the start and she joined Mary On the Fringe. Also in studio was Magdalene Karol, a Polish artist who's been living in Waterford for 15 years.
Heritage Week runs from August 17th to 25th. There are around 1200 events nationwide, and over 50 in Waterford, with the vast majority free. It's run by the Heritage Council of Ireland in conjunction with the libraries. You can find out more here.

Singer/Songwriter Davie Furey is currently embarking on an Irish tour, following the release of his single Fire and Gold. You've a chance to see him in Waterford, at Central Arts on The Quay. You'll find out more here.
