Irish singer / songwriter Gavin James is to play a gig in the seaside town of Dunmore East, County Waterford.
The Boxes hitmaker, no stranger to The Déise, will perform at The Haven Hotel on July 24th, where he'll launch his third album.
Tickets go on sale this morning (Monday May 30th) at 10am, via the hotel's website.
About Gavin James
The Dubliner grew up in a musical household, and was playing in bands and writing music from the age of eight.
James released his debut album and homage to Alanis Morissette Bitter Pill in November 2015 through Warner Ireland. Bitter Pill won the Choice Music Prize for Best Single released that year.
That same year he appeared on James Corden's Late Late Show in the US, and on and Jimmy Kimmel. He has supported Kodaline, Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran on their tours.
Spotify selected Gavin James to be a 'Spotify Spotlight Artist of 2016,' and he has total streams of over 1.5 Billion. He's performed extensively in Ireland and Europe and has played in Waterford, including at the Daytripper festival.
In October 2020, James released his album, "Boxes." It reached number 1 on the Irish Recorded Music Association (IRMA) charts.
