After selling out his three homecoming dates at the Haven (Dunmore East) in a matter of hours last week, Moncrieff has today added two final dates to the run on Sat 13 and Sun 14 December. These concerts mark the triumphant return of local hero Moncrieff to the South East, following a phenomenal year that saw him claim a Number 1 debut album in the Irish Charts with Maybe It’s Fine and headline two huge sold-out shows at Breakwater Festival in Wexford and The Docklands in Limerick earlier this summer.

An Intimate & Unique Performance

For this special run of homecoming shows, The Haven will transform into a celebration of Moncrieff’s Waterford roots. The venue will showcase relics and symbols of local life, creating a deeply immersive experience for fans. Visitors can see photos from Moncrieff’s first gig at Sal’s on the Quay. They will also find jerseys from his hurling days with De La Salle and Butlerstown. Fans can even add their own memories by pinning Polaroids and personal notes to a memory wall.

Moncrieff delivers a heartfelt and intimate performance unlike anything he has done before. He will strip back songs with keys and guitar, supported by a live string quartet. To honour Waterford, he also invites guest musicians from the county to join him across the five nights. Each performance promises connection, emotion, and celebration.

Moncrieff records every concert professionally for a future live release of Maybe It’s Fine. This decision makes each night not just unforgettable but historic.

“I am proud to say that Waterford is my home,” says Moncrieff. “I want to create an immersive and unforgettable experience that celebrates where I come from, and the people and places that shaped me.”

Don’t Miss It

This is a rare chance to witness the boundless energy and songwriting brilliance of one of Ireland’s most exciting artists, in the most personal and meaningful setting possible – just around the headland from where he was born and raised.
