Eddie Dee, a Dungarvan photographer, has won a national photography competition for his stunning shot of a snow-crested Dungarvan Harbour.

Eddie’s photo was one of twelve selected across the country for the 2022 Morris Oil calendar.

The public were asked to vote for their favourites – and ‘Snowscene on the Quayside’ was the overall winner of the People’s Choice.

The photo will be published in the popular calendar for the forthcoming year.

Eddie, a factory worker, with a real passion for sport and scenery – thanked his friends and family for voting for his photo and was delighted to garner recognition.
