Clean Coasts have invited Waterford groups and volunteers to a clean-up of Tramore that will be taking place on Wednesday, July 13th.
They have teamed up with Groundstate Coffee to organise the event which is encouraging people to do their part in keeping the sea free of litter.
They will be meeting volunteers in the car park next to Molly's Café at 11:30am, but it is advised you arrive 15 minutes early in order to avoid delays.
Coffees will be provided by Groundstate via the Café for all volunteers afterwards.
If you wish to attend, confirm via Eventbrite that you will be there.
About Clean Coasts and Groundstate
Clean Coasts is a charity programme that engages communities across Ireland in the protection of beaches, seas, and marine life.
It is run through the Environmental Education Unit of An Taisce.
Groundstate is a Dublin-based cafe roastery that aims to be authentic and sustainable while minimising environmental impact. Their packaging is 100% recyclable and/or compostable and they donate 1% of their sales to Clean Coasts to help maintain a clean coastline.
They source single-origin coffee beans and work with small growers and speciality importers.
Tramore has held a Blue Flag since 1993, meaning it has been recognised as safe, sustainable, and clean.
