Iconic brand Angel Delight, a staple of many the '70s and '80s childhood, is back in the form of soft serve ice cream tubs.

The product is available in the 27 Iceland stores in the country, including in the Waterford city branch on the Cork Road.

The new Angel Delight ice cream has been inspired by the famous airy texture of the original nostalgic mousse-like dessert, which was first sold back in 1967.

The new 800 ml tubs are available in Strawberry and Butterscotch flavours, designed for sharing.

We are delighted to bring yet another iconic brand to our freezers, Angel Delight. We’re confident customers will be heading straight to Iceland’s ice cream freezers to take a trip down memory lane and try out those old-time favourite flavours once again.

About Angel Delight

Angel Delight is a powdered dessert product produced in the United Kingdom by Birds. It is designed to be mixed and whisked with milk to create a mousse like, sweet dessert .

By the 1970s, Bird's had doubled the market for instant desserts. After a lull in popularity during the 1980s, a revival campaign, featuring Wallace and Gromit, was run in 1999.
