11 candidates have been confirmed for the Waterford constituency in the General Election.

Returning officer Niall Rooney has published the notice of poll.

There are no last-minute additions or withdrawals to the list of candidates in Waterford.

The list in full is:

Mary Butler – Fianna Fáil – The public representative was proposed by Michael Butler.

Dr Ronan Cleary – Aontu – The doctor nominated himself.

David Cullinane – Sinn Féin – The public representative was proposed by Michael Doyle.

John Cummins – Fine Gael – The teacher and public rep was proposed by his father Maurice Cummins.

Úna Dunphy – Solidarity – People Before Profit – Úna is listed as unemployed and was proposed by Tom Creedon.

Damien Geoghegan – Fine Gael – Patrick Geoghegan proposed the public representative.

Eddie Mulligan – Fianna Fáil – The public rep was proposed by Michael Murphy.

Marc Ó Cathasaigh – Green Party – The teacher was proposed by James Casey.

Bernadette Philips – Independent – The homemaker was proposed by Willie Doyle.

John Pratt – Labour – The county councillor was proposed by Gerard Barron.

Matt Shanahan – Independent – The self-employed businessman nominated himself.
