About Lynne

lifestyle and opportunities of my grandchildren. The time for change can only be now.
My Vision for West Waterford
For Lismore and district to be places of vibrant and resilient communities. Places to find meaningful
work, enjoy life and build a sustainable and equitable future together.

My Priorities
Rural Communities

Let’s recharge our rural communities as places of opportunity; encouraging and supporting
the local diverse talents, in particular women, by small business and responsible tourism
development. Rural regeneration of town main streets by identifying potential businesses and to
proactively encourage them.
Protect Our Environment

Action at local level to protect and enhance our natural environment for enjoyment by
present and future generations, taking action to tackle climate change, invigorate tree-planting and
create a countywide tree charter, enhance bio-diversity, engage the community.
Grappling with Plastics and Pollution

Reduce, Re-use, Repair, Re-think and then Recycle as a last resort. Make the best use of
renewable resources and minimise man-made pollution through initiatives reducing wasteful
consumption. Support accessible public transport, charging points and ensure focused local policies
encouraging community engagement.
