WLR to take part in National Pride Awareness campaign

This Friday (25th June) radio stations across the country will take part in a national awareness campaign for Pride month.
‘Rainbow Blood’ is a campaign that encapsulates the importance of Pride and continued support for the LGBTI+ community. 1 in 5 people who identify as LGBTI+ have been physically attacked because of their sexuality.
On Friday radio stations across the country will simultaneously broadcast a powerful piece of radio, composed and performed by the incredible spoken word poet Felicia Olusnaya.
Felica will hold the attention of the country for 60 seconds to deliver an emotive spoken word performance piece.
