This years Care For a Cuppa coffee morning in aid of the WLR Christmas Appeal for St Vincent De Paul, is going virtual. On Friday 11th December we are asking you to share a cuppa with someone and to donate to the Christmas appeal. There are also a number of outdoor events planned across the county (see below)
To celebrate this we are giving you the chance to WIN reusable coffee cups made right here in Waterford.
Monkey Cups was set up by Mailo Power from Waterford, who wanted to turn the tide on single-use plastic disposables by creating a range of colourful and stylish reusable alternatives.
We are giving you the chance to get your hands on these colourful, glass, reusable cups next week on WLR. Tune into The Lunchbox with Geoff Harris on Monday 7th December and to Drive Time with Aoibhin Fallon on Tuesday 8th December to find out how to win.
OUTDOOR COFFEE MORNINGS
There are 4 outdoor coffee mornings happening on Friday 11th December across Waterford.
In the city, Liberty Blue Estate Agents and Blue Butterfly Coffee are hosting a morning under the roof at The Apple Market from 10:30am-12:30 with music by The Piano Man.
In Dunmore East there will be drinks and treats at The Lemon Tree Cafe with coffee provided by Barista Bay Coffee Co.
In Dungarvan there will be an outdoor event at Cass & Co, while in Tramore Mollys on The Prom will be hosting an event for the appeal.
All money raised at these events will go towards the WLR Christmas Appeal.
