Waterford Rose, Kirsten Mate Maher took to the stage in Tralee on Monday night as the 15th of 18 Roses to feature on the first night of the televised interviews. Discussing her family, her interests in sport and music and coining the phrase of the festival so far, ‘just be sound’, Kirsten wowed Rose of Tralee audiences across the globe (and that was before her incredible rendition of Nina Simone’s ‘Feeling Good’). It’s no surprise she’s one of, if not the favourite to be crowned the outright winner at the end of tonight’s show.

Also unsurprising… the Internet LOVED her!
