After almost a week of violent protests following the killing of black man George Floyd by a police officer, US president Donald Trump has threatened to send in military troops to states that, as he sees it, are not regaining control of the protestors. On todays show Damien speaks to Waterford man Neil Power who is in New York.

Cha O Neil was a close friend of the late Brendan Bowyer and he was mayor when Brendan was given the honour of the freedom of the city. He speaks to Damien about his memories of the man. As does former Garda Assistant Commissioner Eamonn Keating, and former showband member Eddie O Sullivan.

And another talented young poet, and winner in the Waterford Teachers Centre poetry competition, Alice O Mahoney, from Loreto secondary school, recites her poem 'My Voice'.
Finola Cronin from the Waterford Cycling Campaign tells Damien how they are calling on the Waterford City and County Council to facilitate safer conditions for cyclists as the number of people using bikes has increased since the lockdown.
There have been a number of incidents recently involving drones. Damien hears from Jason Keane of DJ Sky Photography about the ins and outs of using a drone.
