Tributes have been paid to the late, great Michael Coppinger of 'The Royal Showband' who died yesterday at the age of 81.
On this morning's Deise Today, Damien spoke to Claire Coppinger who is Michael's grand-daughter, as well as ex 'Royal Showband' member Michael Sullivan AND Tony Comerford of 'Brass & Co'.
Also on this morning's show, Damien spoke to Anthony Staines, Prof of Health Systems at DCU, about what direction he thinks we need to take to ensure we all enjoy a safe as well as happy Christmas, as the nation prepares for the Taoiseach's announcement on restrictions this evening.
Elaine Loughlin, political correspondent with 'The Irish Examiner', spoke about the further questions now raised by Minister Helen McEntee's comments before the Dail yesterday on Seamus Woulfe.
Mary Brady Sharpe, Waterford publican and VFI rep, was in studio talking about the difficult times 'wet' publicans are experiencing in their second period of lockdown - with it looking unlikely they'll re-open in the near future.
