1. Masks to be worn for LC Oral Exams

Students and interviewers are being advised to wear facemasks during Leaving Cert Oral Exams. The State Examinations Commission has issued guidance on conduct for the exams which now includes masks, social distancing, perspex screens, ventilation, cleaning and sanitation.

2. NPHET postpones key meeting regarding Covid restrictions

The National Public Health Emergency Team has postponed a key meeting ahead of decisions on the easing of Covid-19 restrictions from April 5th. The group, which was meant to meet tomorrow, will not do so now until next week.

3. Man charged with the murder of Wexford woman

A Clare man has been charged with the murder of a Wexford mother of two, Sharon Bennett. Mr Ballard had initially been charged with assault causing harm in Ennis on January 28th. Ms Bennett died 13 days later at University Hospital Limerick.

4. Appeal for info on 50th birthday of missing Imelda Keenan

An appeal for information into the disappearance of Imelda Keenan 27 years ago has been reissued by the gardai on what would have been her 50th birthday today

5. Coleman urges fans to support Duffy ahead of Serbia game

The Republic of Ireland take on Serbia tonight in a crucial World Cup qualifier, with manager Stephen Kenny looking for his first win since taking over the role. Captain Seamus Coleman encouraged fans to support teammate Shane Duffy after he lost his place with Celtic.

6. Jedward to shave off trademark quiffs for Daffodil Day

This Friday is Daffodil Day, a fundraising day for The Irish Cancer Society. However for a second year running, the organisation will not be able to carry out their traditional sale of Daffodils on the streets of the country. However you can donate online by clicking here.

On this Friday's Late Late Show twin brothers John and Edward Grimes, known as Jedward, will be shaving their heads in memory of their mother, Susanna, who passed away after battling cancer in 2019.
