Rentokil say there’s been an 89% increase in callouts over the past 3 months across the country. Silverfish measure approximately one centimetre in length and are silver or grey in colour, and are teardrop-shaped, with tiny scales and two antennae
4.Dungarvan GAA accept disqualification and lose county title
The Waterford County board have confirmed that Dungarvan GAA has accepted their punishment for Covid infringements during their Intermediate Football Final against Kill. It means that the Intermediate Champions will lose their county title, individuals will be suspended and they will have to pay a fine.
5. Sam Bennett is relegated after Vuelta Espana stage win
Tipperary cyclist Sam Bennett had his stage win taken away from him today after a move that was deemed to be 'irregular sprinting'. Bennett thought he'd sealed his second stage win in this year's Vuelta however after studying footage of Bennett hitting Emils Liepins with his shoulder heading towards the final stretch, commissaries awarded the stage to Pascal Ackermann.

Half of one of the most famous comedic duos from the 70s and 80s Bobby Ball passed away today after contracting Covid-19. Part of the Cannon and Ball show, Ball had a number of famous catchphrases including "Rock on Tommy". He appeared on I'm A Celebrity Get me out of here in 2005. Many celebrities tweeted about his death earlier including I'm a Celeb hosts Ant and Dec, as well as his comedy partner Tommy Cannon.
