1. Average 170 Covid tests per day at Waterford walk-in centre
Up to 170 people a day were being tested at Waterford's walk-in COVID test centre this week. The facility, which was in operation at WIT's College Street campus since last weekend, has now finished up.
2. Bank of Ireland in talks to take over KBC accounts
KBC Bank customers are being told not to panic after today's announcement its to enter negotiations with Bank of Ireland over its performing portfolio. The banks have signed a memorandum of understanding to enter official talks. If an agreement is reached, it would see KBC exit the Irish market.

Helen McCrory, who played Polly Gray in Peaky Blinders, as well as Narcissa Malfoy in the final 3 Harry Potter movies, has died following a long battle with cancer. Her husband, fellow actor Damien Lewis, made the announcement on Twitter earlier this afternoon.
