Since schools have re-opened many institutions have moved a lot of learning online, thus reducing the number of books needed in class on a daily basis. However this has not been the case with all schools. On the show today Damien speaks to a parent, Sharon Doherty, who has concerns about the very heavy school bag her child needs to bring to school every day.

And Damien hears from a listener, Helen, whose 81 year old mother is very distressed at not being able to visit her husband who has been hospitalised for the past three weeks.
In the second part of the show we deal with the issues that some customers are having with the Eir network. Councillor John Pratt tells Damien that these issues are particularly hitting people in the west of the county.
