Two leading colleges in Ireland, NUI Galway and Dublin City University, have carried out a survey of 35,000 people regarding Covid-19 and the recent restrictions. 50% of those surveyed said that the lifting of the 2km radius on movement is their top priority when Covid-19 rules are eased.

Other results are that more than half of parents say they struggle to motivate their children to do schoolwork at home.

On Today's Show Damien Tiernan discusses the results of this survey with Dr Akke Vellinga, Epidemiologist and senior Lecturer at NUI Galway. That is in part 2 of the programme.

Firstly Damien speaks to Barry Grant from the Gambling Clinic. According to new figures, 233 people sought help for gambling as their main problem last year, 7% more than in 2018, however some feel this is just the tip of the iceberg.
