How common are hospital outbreaks of coronavirus and overall, and how effective have our health care facilities been at containing outbreaks that do occur?!

Yesterday evening, a statement from UHW confirmed "a number of positive covid 19 cases" at the hospital and confirmed that an "outbreak control team" is on site actively managing the situation and implementing all appropriate covid control and management protocols.

On this morning's Deise Today, Maria McCann heard on the latest on  UHW from WLR News Editor Julie Smyth while Anthony Staines, Prof of Health Systems at DCU, spoke about how Irish hospitals largely been very successful in their management of such situations to date.
