A GoFundMe page to raise funds for the rehabilitation of Waterford minor footballer Mark Dalton has already received donations of thousands of euro.
The page was set up by friends and family of young Mark, who was injured in a serious traffic collision last December. His twin brother Tom, as well as three of their friends, were also injured in the crash. Mark suffered spinal injuries and now has to undergo extensive rehabilitation.
Mark played Minor hurling and football for Waterford, alongside his brother Tom. Speaking on today's Deise Today, former hurler Peter Queally, who is a friend of the family, said it has been a difficult time for them. Listen back to the full interview below.
The target of the Go Fund Me page was €150,000 but so far it has raised €257,00. Click here to donate.
