On today's show Damien speaks to the parent of a child with special needs who has not been in school since March. The childs parents had hoped that their 5 year old daughter would be able to return in July as part of the summer provision programme, but the school isn't running it now due to a lack of resources.
Damien also hears from councillor John Pratt on his last day as mayor of Waterford City and County.
And Damien visits the Holy Ghost Nursing Home in Waterford where he speaks to the residents about the difficulties they faced during lockdown and how glad they are to have family members able to visit them once again.
WLR's racing correspondent Mark Philips speaks to Damien about another of the nominees for Waterford's Greatest Sporting Hero, Tom Queally. Associated with Frankel, one of the best horses of the world, he lives in UK now but is originally from Cappagh.

Dr Maria Feeney, who did a PhD on rural male suicides discusses suicides on farms. She has details of Embrace FARM which is a support charity for those in the farming community affected by suicide. They are holding a memorial this weekend.
