As we all know at this stage, Waterford's long wait for All-Ireland glory goes on this morning following yesterday's disappointing result against Limerick.
It's been 61 years since Waterford won the senior hurling title and while hopes had been high ahead of yesterday's much-anticipated clash, the stronger side triumphed on the day.
On this morning's Deise Today, Damien caught up with Kieran O'Connor (who was on commentary duty yesterday), GAA correspondent Tomas McCarthy as well as former Waterford senior hurlers Dan Shanahan and Fergal Hartley.
He also spoke to Sean Michael O'Regan, chair of Waterford GAA County Board, about the result but also on hopes and plans for Waterford GAA in the future.
