Just a day out from Budget 2020, what can we expect?

Luckily for us all, experts from PwC Waterford will be in studio today through Wednesday to give their professional opinion on all things Budget 2020. Minister for Finance Paschal Donohoe will present his Budget for 2020 on Tuesday, October 8^th- and we'll have key members of the PwC Waterford team address all pre and post budget concerns.

The priorities as he prepares this year's announcement are likely to include ensuring the foundations of Ireland's hard-earned economic stability remain intact. The country needs to prepare for every eventuality, as we face unprecedented uncertainty.

With the Brexit deadline imminent after Budget Day, the OECD reforming global tax policies and Ireland's economy at risk of overheating, there are competing challenges that the Minister must balance to provide certainty in an anxious economic environment.

PwC's pre-budget analysis features an overview of the circumstances the Minister has to consider ahead of the Budget and their opinion as to what will be announced tomorrow. They'll also break down the key priorities for Government as it looks to 2020 and beyond.
