Damien Tiernan continues with his in depth interviews with the 12 candidates running for election in Waterford. Today he speaks to hospital campaigner and Independent candidate Matt Shanahan as well as Fianna Fail candidate Eddie Mulligan.
Also on the show Damien speaks to John Fitzgerald, a Tramore resident who is having difficulties accessing council housing for himself, his kids and his wife who suffers from mental health issues.
In part 2 of the programme Damien is joined by Martin Killelea, the father of one of the acid attack victims who has an update from gardai on the investigation.
Stacey Davis, spokesperson for students at the Waterford College of Further Education, who have voiced concerns at issues with the college including library services and cleanliness. Noreen Reilly, principal of the college also talked to Damien to respond to the concerns.
And Damien is joined by the political panel of former Munster Express journalist Johnny O Connor, current Munster Express journalist Kieran Foley and Waterford New and Star Editor Mary Frances Ryan.
