Quizmasters Matt Keane and Damien Tiernan tested the knowledge of the brightest brains of Waterford with an extremely challenging quiz on the Premiere League in The Cove Bar, Dunmore Road on Wednesday 13th November.
There was a massive turn out on the night with 34 teams turning up and a total of €1,960 raised for the WLR Be A Little Star Christmas Appeal in aid of St Vincent De Paul.
There was an electric atmosphere in venue as teams competed to show off their knowledge of the Liverpool's top scorers, Ipswich towns star players, and Chelsea's foreign managers.
The winners on the night were a team made up of Des Whelan from WLR, Fianna Fail councillor Adam Wyse and Beat's sports reporter Kevin Galvin.
But the big winner was the appeal with all proceeds going directly to The St Vincent De Paul.
