A Waterford municipality has been identified as the second-most devoted cinemagoer community in the nation.
The first most movie-loving town in Ireland is Ballincollig in Cork, and Tramore has been identified as the second. Google data was used by digital marketing company Digital Funnel to discover which region was the most film-obsessed.
Findings were gathered by looking at eight different trending search terms that appeared in Ireland over the previous week, including "Barbie," "Oppenheimer," "Omniplex," "Mission Impossible," "Odeon," "Imax," "Cinema," and "Cinema Listings."
Today, July 21, the eagerly awaited Barbie and Oppenheimer movies are both launched in theatres across the country.
In Barbie, Margot Robbie portrays Barbie and Ryan Gosling depicts Ken. After being kicked out of Barbie land, they go on a voyage of personal growth. In Oppenheimer, Irish actor Cillian Murphy plays American physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer and details his involvement in the creation of the atomic bomb.
