This year, from July 6 to July 9, the Comeraghs Wild Festival returns to Co. Waterford with brand-new activities and a jam-packed programme.

The ninth anniversary celebration will be held in the stunning Waterford landscape, which extends from the Copper Coast into the Nire Valley and Comeragh Mountains. Over the course of four days, the picturesque terrain and the nearby coastal wilderness will come alive with music, drama, outdoor events, and family-friendly entertainment.

The festival this year will feature various brand-new activities, such as a comedy show, pilates beach classes, foraging and a stunning dawn hike. The inaugural "Comeragh to the Coast Chorus," which features a live performance by a local choir in Durrow Tunnel on the Waterford Greenway, will also be enjoyed by festivalgoers.

A must-see outdoor concert at Crotty's Lake, live theatre, a local film, live music sessions, and set dancing high in the Comeragh Mountains are among highlights of this year's programme. Mountain biking and surfing are great for thrill seekers. Or if you prefer a slower pace, you can enjoy wellness activities, children's crafts in the woods, tours of the magnificent Curraghmore House & Gardens, and much more.
