A third day has been added for Bruce Springsteen and The E Street band in the RDS next year due to high demand.
Tickets for his May 5th and 7th dates sold out when they went on sale at 8am this morning, and a third date, May 9th, was then added.
Over 68,000 eager fans waited in an online queue in the hope of securing tickets for the original two days. The third date has now also sold out.
This is Springsteen and his bands' first time touring together in over six years.
“After six years, I’m looking forward to seeing our great and loyal fans next year. And I’m looking forward to once again sharing the stage with the legendary E Street Band. See you out there, next year — and beyond,” Springsteen said.
The E Street Band has been Springsteen's primary backing band since 1972. In December 2020, they reconnected to perform on Saturday Night Live, where they launched live versions of two songs from their most recent studio album Letter To You.
Tickets, which between €96 for seated and €131 for standing (exclusive of fees), are on sale now via the Ticketmaster website and app.
