Waterford musician Moncrieff has announced his biggest gigs to date.
The singer plays Wexford's Breakwater Festival on August 7th, as well as a date in Limerick on August 9th.
Tickets for both gigs go on sale this Friday at 9 am.
The Tramore native has tasted worldwide success in recent years.
Chris Breheny, aka Moncrieff, began his musical journey as a teenager after the tragic loss of his older brother and sister. Music had become the vessel that the burgeoning artist used to process emotions that at that point were threatening to overwhelm him. Relocating from Berlin to London, Breheny later called time on law studies and started songwriting full-time, with immense dedication.
After a string of successful EPs and singles that have earned him 50 million streams since 2017, accolades like the RTÉ Choice Music Prize 2023 for & Irish Song of the Year (for his 2022 hit 'Warm'), and performances at major festivals such as Lollapalooza Berlin - this is the latest step in his growing career.
