Gardaí are telling festivalgoers not to use Sat Nav to arrive at All Together Now.
An Garda Síochána produced a traffic plan for All Together Now on Wednesday, providing advice for motorists attending the festival. The popular event will be held at Curraghmore House in Portlaw, Co Waterford, from Friday, August 4 to Sunday, August 6.
The Garda are urging motorists to utilise the All Together Now (ATN) app, Garda Twitter, or An Garda Síochána Facebook pages for Waterford/Kilkenny/Carlow to get traffic updates and directions to the gates. Traffic information will be posted on Garda Twitter, local Facebook pages, and local media on a regular basis, and motorists should take the advised routes for each entry gate.
Gardaí additionally cautions participants that the event is taking place in a rural area, with other road users and people using the routes; there is only one route through Portlaw Village, and no festival vehicles will be given entrance by any other route. As stated by the Garda, Bus Éireann has organised daily shuttles from Waterford Bus Station in Waterford City to the festival.
