On today's Lunchbox, Geoff will be joined by Neville Murphy who will be speaking about the upcoming 'Dash & Splash'! The people of Waterford are being encouraged to join the crew for a Dash & Splash to help raise vital funds for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) as part of the charity’s national annual fundraising event, Mayday. Organised by the fundraising branch of Dunmore East RNLI, the event will commence at 2.30pm on Sunday 6 May. There will also be a yellow welly throwing competition for all ages, prizes for the longest throw. You can also join the lifeboat crew for a fun game of beach soccer while the kids compete in a sand castle competition and much more. Tea and coffee will be available for all from the gazebo where resident DJ will be playing a few tunes. A family fun day for all and everyone is welcome.
