Gailltir will face St Rynaghs for the fourth year in a row in the All Ireland intermediate camogie semi final on Saturday.

The blue and navy lost to the Offaly champions in the 2020 final last month and centre back Clodagh Carroll said that was hard to take. "We were extremely disappointed. You could hear a pin drop in the dressing room. We recuperated, regrouped and we're gunning for the match on Saturday, we can't wait."

Carroll was named Player of the Match in their Munster final win over Knockavilla and she is happy with her new role in the team. "The first year we played Rynaghs in the All Ireland semi final, I played wing forward. A year or two later, I got changed into the back line and I'm definitely enjoying it a lot more back there."

Clodagh's family are her biggest supporters. "My Mam and Dad are unreal, they go to every single match. Wind rain or hail, they're there. My Grandad is a big hurling man from Kilkenny so he loves it."
