The weekend started well for Wildcats, with the Senior Team securing a hard-fought away win against Fr Mathews in Cork in the MissQuote.ie Super League.

Final score: Fr Mathews 72 (42) - Wildcats 88 (57)

Top scorers: Rachel Thompson 37; Sarah Hickey 15; Jasmine Walker 13.

Tommy O' Mahony's team are now third in the table - tied on points with Killester - with two games left in the season.  They make the trip to Garvey's St. Marys on Thursday night, before returning home to round out the year with a home game against Killester.

Unfortunately, Sunday was a more challenging day. The U18 team were in the National Basketball Arena where they struggled to settle into their National Cup semifinal match against Limerick Celtics. In the end, Celtics qualified for the Cup Final with a score of 89-41.

For our young U18 players, this was a tough day at the office but you should all be proud of having progressed all the way to the semifinals.
