On Friday’s Deise Today Damien Tiernan was joined in conversation about the future of women’s sport by a panel of experts.

This included Dunmore East native Jessie Barr, a sports psychologist with The Irish Institute of Sports, as well as a former Olympian; John Walsh head coach at Muay Thai, he is also Irish WKA Champion (ranked 6th in the world), black belt in kickboxing and Wado Ryu Karate; Sinead Brannigan Community Sports Developer ‘Waterford Sports Partnership’; and former Irish rugby international Nora Stapleton, who is “Women in Sport Lead” with Sport Ireland.
