It's set to be a busy weekend for the West Waterford golfing talent with both Gary Hurley and Seamus Power hitting the fairways this Thursday.

Hurley begins life on the 2023 DP World Tour this morning at the Ras Al Khaimah Championship in the UAE

Ranked inside the world's top 500 at the start of this year, Hurley has not been in action since before Christmas when he lined out on the tour's season-ending events in South Africa.

He hit the fairways this morning at 7.40 Irish time, starting from the tenth tee box in the company of Simon Forstrom and  Nick Bachem.

Later today, his West Waterford club mate Seamus Power returns for the Pebble Beach Pro-Am on the PGA Tour.

Seamus will be teeing off just before six o clock this evening, playing with Thomas Detry as well as Irish businessmen Gerry McManus and Dermot Desmond.

Seamus was tied for 20th when he was in action at the HSBC Championship last weekend.
