Waterpark were the only Waterford side to register a win in the Munster Junior League yesterday.

They beat Youghal Pirates 13 to 8 at Ballinakill with Dermot Ryan scoring their try in the first half. Outhalf Willie Walsh kicked the conversion as well as two penalties.

While Dungarvan suffered defeat at home to league leaders Ennis, where it ended 33 to 17 in favour of the Clare side. Peter Jones' team have struggled for consistency since the curtain-raiser with Killarney - a game they won 58-7.

Braydon Dee Carter, Kevin Connors and Patsy Coyne dotted down tries for Dungarvan with Joey Doherty kicking one of his three conversions.

Ennis remain unbeaten in Division Three and are top of the table, with Scariff tied on points but behind on scoring difference.

Waterford City were also beaten, losing 17 to 5 on the road to Castleisland. Hayden Casey dotted down their lone score in the second half.
