Eleven in a row chasing Ballygunner are the team to beat as the 2024 Waterford SHC gets underway this weekend.
"They seem as determined as ever," Dungarvan Leader GAA reporter Mac Dara Mac Donncha told WLR's Lár Na Páirce show. "I saw them in the league final a couple of weeks ago, where they were between first and second gear and short six players and beat Mount Sion fairly comfortably. The hunger is there, the desire is there. They want to win another All Ireland. They've been breaking records. They broke two records last year; the ten in a row here in Waterford and the three in a row in Munster, the first club to ever do that. The Tommy Moore, that's what they want more than anything else."
