Waterford Senior Camogie backroom team additions confirmed

Waterford Camogie manager Jerry Wallace has been busy this past week, with several appointments made to his backroom team for 2024.

The key addition to the team so far is Performance Coach, Analyst and Selector, Aaron Fox. The Galway native has previously managed the Galway minors and holds an MSc in Performance Coaching.

He brought his Galway side to the All-Ireland final, losing to Cork in 2022. They featured in the 2023 semi-finals, where they once again lost to Cork by two points.

Fox joins Michael Boland in the setup, with the Carrigtwohill native previously working with Wallace in his time with the Cork minors.

In his club time, Boland managed Courcey Rovers to their first-ever Cork title in 2020. Boland will perform the role of Lead Coach and Selector with Waterford.

Elsewhere, Dean Roche has been named as the Lead Performance & Rehabilitation Coach while Irish netball player Megan Thornton joins the team as a Sports Performance Coach "focussing on unlocking potential through enhancing mental performance."
