As Storm Isha batters the Irish coasts, sport around the country has fallen by the wayside - albeit some games have gone ahead.
One of those contests was the Schoolgirls Interleague National Quarter Final with Waterford taking on the Cavan/Monaghan League in Cootehill Co Cavan earlier today. It was the only interleague game nationwide to survive the weather warnings.
It ended 3-0 in favour of Ian Barrett's side with Emily O Reilly of Bohs, Katelyn Moore (Piltown) and Holly Kirby (Carrick United) the goalscorers.
O Reilly's score came from the penalty spot while Moore and Kirby both scored from play.
The girls travel to play the Galway League in the National Semi-Final on the weekend of February 17 /18.
