Waterford FC Chief Operating Officer Marc O Donovan-Wyatt has tendered his resignation to the club.
In a statement issued this afternoon he says he submitted the resignation to the club on March 20 but will remain in his position until June in order to support the team and ensure a smooth transition to the the club's next phase.
The full statement reads
O Donovan-Wyatt was appointed in February of last year.
On Thursday 20/03/24, I made the decision to submit my resignation to Waterford FC.
I will remain in post until June 2024 to continue supporting the team with the improvement of this special football club and ensure a smooth transition to the clubs next phase.
Beyond June, is yet to be determined but no doubt the future is bright.
There are so many people to thank which I will do closer to my finishing date, until then my full focus remains on developing this club and this region, together.
