The Central Hearings Committee upheld Tadhg De Burca's one match ban at a meeting in Croke Park last night.
De Burca was sent off in the All Ireland quarter final win over Wexford for deliberating pulling the faceguard of Model forward Harry Kehoe.
The Clashmore defender now has the option of appealing the suspension to the Central Appeals Committee.
It's understood the county board will take that step and if that appeal fails they can go to the Disputes resolution authority.
