Waterford City picked up their first win of the Munster Junior League Division Three yesterday, beating Rugbaí Chorca Dhuibhne at Kilbarry.
Aidan O Neill, Seaghan Walsh & Matt Garvey were converted by Mike O Connor on their way to a 22-10 win.
There was no joy for Dungarvan in Division Three, however, as they are still searching for their second win of the season after a 23-10 loss to Ardscoil Old Boys from Limerick.
In what was a scrappy game, the Dungarvan scores came from wingers Eoin Buenaventura and Donnacha Dunphy, but they failed to capitalise on the chances they had out wide to put pressure on the Limerick outfit.
While Waterpark were beaten by the Cobh Pirates in Division Two, handing the Ballinakill outfit a second loss of the campaign.
Outhalf Willie Walsh provided all of their scores (Two tries, Two conversions and three penalties) with Cobh running out as 31 to 24 winners.
