The All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship semi-finals are upon us, as Waterford take on Tipperary at Nowlan Park from 3:30 this afternoon with a place in the final on the line.
Not since 1945 have the Deise taken their place in the decider, and they now come up against both a familiar and formidable opponent, with whom they've had some great battles in recent seasons.
It's the second season in a row that Waterford have made it to the semi-finals following a 63-year hiatus, having narrowly fallen to Cork at this hurdle in 2022.
Since then, All-Ireland minor and U-21 winning boss with Waterford, Sean Power, has taken the reins.
He's told WLR Sport that the support that the camogie panel have received this campaign has been second to none, and it could yet prove all the difference.
"The support we have seen so far this year has been incredible", said Power.
"The panel really appreciate it and it is almost beggars belief at times when you think how supportive the Waterford people are. For this one, I am urging anyone who can, to get up and support the girls in Nowlan Park. Who knows where we will be in the closing minutes - an extra Waterford cheer could prove the difference and it might be what gets us over the line."
Waterford have no fear entering the do-or-die clash, and Power says occasions like these should be relished as opposed to feared.
"We've been training quite well. The girls are mad keen to get out there and play the game. An All-Ireland semi-final is there to be looked forward to. Eight counties are no longer with us, four are left and we're in the mix. We're excited and can't wait."
WLR will broadcast the game live from 3.15pm this afternoon with thanks to Kiely Gaule - Tomas McCarthy and Claire Whyte will bring live commentary of all the action.
