Waterford athletes to the fore at U23 and Junior National Championships

It was a very successful day for Waterford, keeping up a great tradition at these Championships.

Ferrybank AC returned home with an impressive medal haul as Jake Bagge won the U23 800m with Callum Hurley winning the Junior 800m in a championship best time of 1.51.85. Also for Ferrybank, Katie Nolke was third in the Junior long jump.

Waterford AC were also in attendance with Emily O' Mahony taking gold in the U23 triple jump as well as bagging silver in the long jump., while Maeve O' Connor was third in the junior 3000m walk.
