Villa begin title defence with victory

In the Waterford Premier League last night, reigning champions Villa got their defence off to the perfect start with a victory over Bohemians.

Dean Walsh opened the scoring, before substitute Alex Phelan doubled the lead in the second half to give Conor Coad's side a 2-0 win.

Villa are next in action against Ballinroad.
