The Waterford Senior Camogie Club Championship continued today (Sunday), with three games down for decision in the 3rd round.

De La Salle v Cappoquin

Arguably the tie of the day was the top-of-the-table clash between Cappoquin and De La Salle in Cappoquin.

Coming into today's game, the two shared top spot on the table, however De La Salle have managed to edge ahead after a 2-18 to 0-8 victory.

Maggie Gostl was the goalscorer for DLS, netting one in either half.

De La Salle were dominant from the get-go and headed in at half-time with three times Cappoquin's score: 1-10 to 0-5.

The home side weren't able to put a dent in the city side in the second half either, clawing back just three points compared to De La Salle's goal and ten.

The final score in Cappoquin this morning:

De La Salle: 2-19 | Cappoquin: 0-08.

Gailltír v Tramore

In the other 11am throw-in, it was third against fifth, as Gailltír travelled to take on Tramore.

Despite Gailltír leading for most of the game, Tramore stayed within reach during the first half and early into the second.

Half-way through the first half, the scoreboard had Gailltír two points ahead, 0-5 to 0-3, and the sides went in with three between them; 0-7 to 0-4.

However, Tramore came flying out of the traps for the second half and pointed three without reply to level the game at seven points apiece within the first few minutes.

Unfortunately for the home side, it was a short-lived lead as Gailltír responded with gusto, pointing four of their own to make it 0-11 to 0-7.

From then on it was all the visitors' game, as apart from one Tramore point, Gailltír knocked over eight more to secure their victory.

The 'cherry on top' came in the form of an Emer Walsh goal just before full-time.

The final score was:

Gailltír: 1-19 | Tramore: 0-08.

St Anne's v An Rinn

The final game of the day threw-in at 2 o'clock between fourth-placed St Anne's and sixth-placed An Rinn.

In what was a fairly one-sided affair in Kilmacthomas, St Anne's went in at half-time with five points to spare over the Gaeltacht side, 0-10 to 0-05.

10 more points went the way of the hosts in the second half, while An Rinn managed just two.

The final score was:

St Anne's: 0-20 | An Rinn: 0-07.
