Waterford had 22 points to spare over Tipperary this afternoon (4-10 to 0-0) to make it three wins out of three in Division 2 of the National Camogie League.

In driving wind and rain at the Dungarvan club grounds, Tara Power netted twice for the Déise while Lorraine Bray and Beth Carton also raised green flags.

Derek Lyons made three changes from the win over Kilkenny as Hannah Flynn, Kate Lynch and Mairéad O'Brien all got the nod. Waterford raced 2-5 to 0-0 ahead after just nine minutes. A low shot from captain Lorraine Bray found the net in the third minute. Beth Carton crossed for Tara Power four minutes later.

Power scrambled home her second towards the end of the half as the home side led 3-7 to 0-0 at the break. The Tramore forward finished the opening 30 minutes with 2-2 while Vikki Falconer, Mairead O'Brien, Roisin Kirwan and Carton also split the posts. The only downer came on 20 minutes when Bray was forced off with a hand injury.

Waterford will contest either a league quarter final or a semi final in the coming weeks.
