Shamie McDonagh of St. Paul's Boxing Club has won a gold medal at the Eindhoven Box Cup in the Netherlands.
The 63.5kg fighter claimed his third win in as many days to take home top honours.
It proved a very successful venture for Waterford representatives, as Zara Breslin of Tramore Boxing Club took home a silver medal from the same tournament, having been narrowly defeated in the final of her weight class.
