Seamus Power finally ended his 2018 season on the PGA Tour with a very respectable finish in the Northern Trust event - the first of the FedEx Cup PLAYOFF series.
Requiring at least at top 20 finish to progress to the second playoff, the West Waterford man carded a 67 on Sunday afternoon to post a final tournament total of -5 pocketing him a nice cheque thus seeing his season’s earnings fall just short of $800,000.
He would eventually finish in the mid 30s on the final leader board and surely left Paramus, New Jersey very happy and still slightly releaved about his overall performance on the PGA Tour this year.
Power will have attracted a lot of new fans throughout the year following his higher profile in the media and one would presume that not only will establishing himself in America be on his objective list for next season but a debut Major appearance must also be in his plans.
