Roanmore advance to Munster Intermediate Football Semi

Roanmore advanced to the Munster Club Intermediate Football Championship semi-finals on Sunday afternoon, beating Grangemockler-Ballyneale in the quarter-final at Bansha.

They will face Mungret St Pauls of Limerick in the provincial semi-final on November 26th.

The Sky Blues raced into a 0.04 - 0.00 lead after 11 minutes, but 6 minutes later, the Tipperary side reduced that deficit to a single point.

With ten minutes to go until the halftime whistle, Shane Mackey raised Roanore's first green flag to reclaim their four-point lead, but by the break, Grangemockler-Ballyneale had enough work done to head for the changing rooms level on 1.06 to 0.09.
